Job Title: Scheduler/Dispatcher - Kingston Branch Office

At Paladin Security, we are seeking a highly skilled and organized individual to join our team as a Scheduler/Dispatcher in our Kingston Branch Office.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Communicate effectively with clients, security staff, and other stakeholders through various telecommunications systems and equipment.
  • Answer calls and dispatch security staff as needed, ensuring timely and efficient response to emergencies.
  • Interact with emergency services, such as police, fire department, and EMS, as required.
  • Update and maintain accurate schedules for security staff, filling vacancies and minimizing overtime.
  • Strategically plan schedules to optimize resource utilization and minimize unnecessary overtime.
  • Provide information to staff regarding additional shifts, coverages, and shift availability.
  • Maintain accurate daily open shift logs and update management accordingly.
  • Create, update, and modify work schedules for security guards in Ottawa and Kingston.
Requirements:
  • Working knowledge of the security industry is an asset.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Superior customer service skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and independently.
  • Working knowledge of ESA, Human Rights, and Labour Relations.
