About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Shift Manager to join our team at McDonald's Restaurant. As a Shift Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of staff to ensure seamless operations and exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that work schedules are met and quality control standards are maintained.
  • Training and Development: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, as well as provide guidance on customer service and sales techniques.
  • Inventory Management: Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, and prepare and submit reports.
  • Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns, ensuring that food and service meet quality control standards.
  • Work Schedules: Establish work schedules for staff, ensuring that adequate coverage is maintained during peak periods.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a fast-paced environment.
  • Work Setting: Fast food outlet or concession, restaurant.
  • Supervision: 5-10 people, including food and beverage servers, food service counter attendants, and kitchen and food service helpers.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Combination of sitting, standing, walking, standing for extended periods, physically demanding, and attention to detail.
  • Personal Suitability: Client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, flexibility, and team player.
