Job Summary

KPS ENTERPRISES INC. is seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to lead our team of food preparation and service staff. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our food and service meet the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures
    • Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure efficient workflow
  • Quality Control and Assurance
    • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation
    • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
    • Prepare budget and cost estimates
  • Customer Service and Relations
    • Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner
  • Administrative and Record-Keeping
    • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage
    • Prepare and submit reports as required
  • Work Environment and Physical Demands
    • Work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail
    • Stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service supervisory role
  • Language and Work Environment
    • Fluent in English (langue de travail: Anglais)
    • Work in a team environment with 1 to 2 people or 3-4 people
