Deafblind Services Support Professional

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to fill the role of Communication Specialist - Summer Student. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals who are deafblind, Deaf, hard of hearing, and non-verbal with developmental disabilities.
Key Responsibilities:- Event Planning and Coordination: Assist in planning and organizing fundraising events to support our mission and services.
- Community Awareness and Engagement: Manage and maintain our online presence to promote community awareness and engagement.
- Internal Communication: Execute internal communication plans to ensure seamless collaboration and information sharing within the organization.
- Research and Partnerships: Conduct research to identify potential corporate partnerships and collaborations that align with our mission and values.
- Service Listings and Updates: Update service club listings to ensure accurate and timely information.
- Relationship Building: Foster positive relationships within the organization to promote a culture of inclusivity and respect.
- Compliance and Safety: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
To be eligible for this position, you must be between 15 and 30 years of age, a Canadian citizen or permanent resident, and legally entitled to work in Canada.
