Overview of the Position:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Recruitment Specialist to enhance our hiring processes. This role is essential in ensuring that our organization is staffed with qualified individuals who align with our mission and values.
About DeafBlind Ontario Services:
Our organization is committed to delivering specialized assistance to individuals who are deafblind, Deaf, hard of hearing, and non-verbal with developmental disabilities. We focus on providing personalized services that cater to the distinct needs, communication preferences, and aspirations of each individual.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the complete recruitment process, which includes creating job advertisements, evaluating resumes, and organizing interviews.
- Work closely with Community Engagement Managers to formulate effective recruitment strategies and predict staffing requirements.
- Keep abreast of recruitment trends and coordinate outreach initiatives within the community and on various platforms.
Qualifications:
- A degree or diploma in Human Resources Management.
- CHRP/CHRL certification or in progress.
- Prior experience in recruitment, ideally within the non-profit sector.
