About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Development Manager to join our team at DeafBlind Ontario Services. As a key member of our development team, you will play a critical role in leading our fundraising efforts and building strategic partnerships to support our mission.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a portfolio of prospects and donors to achieve strategic fundraising goals.
  • Develop and implement a robust donor acquisition strategy to identify and cultivate new relationships.
  • Collaborate with the development team and communications teams to create alignment and achieve organizational goals.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including corporate partners, individual donors, and community prospects.
  • Oversee the design and implementation of new programs and infrastructure to support a consistent pipeline of potential new donors.
Requirements
  • University degree in business, communications, fundraising, or a related field.
  • 6 to 10 years' experience in a leadership capacity with professional fundraising in the not-for-profit sector.
  • Proven track record of fundraising success and an active network of philanthropic contacts.
  • Working towards the CFRE designation is an asset.
