Kitchen Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Kitchen Supervisor to join our team at Black Sheep Pub & Liquor Store. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our food service.
Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Management
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff to ensure efficient food preparation and service.
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a high level of quality and customer satisfaction.
- Inventory and Supplies
- Requisition food and kitchen supplies to maintain adequate stock levels.
- Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation to minimize waste and optimize inventory.
- Quality Control and Safety
- Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards by conducting regular quality checks and implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment by adhering to health and safety regulations and protocols.
- Administrative Tasks
- Prepare budget and cost estimates for food and supplies.
- Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to inform inventory management and cost control decisions.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a kitchen supervisory role.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and protocols.
