Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Human Resources Officer to join our team at 2051593 ALBERTA LTD. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for managing the full cycle of staffing, from identifying current and prospective staffing requirements to preparing and posting job notices and advertisements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Staffing Planning: Identify current and prospective staffing requirements to ensure the company's operational needs are met.
  • Job Posting and Advertising: Prepare and post job notices and advertisements to attract top talent.
  • Candidate Sourcing: Collect and screen applicants to ensure they meet the company's requirements.
  • Employment Requirements: Advise job applicants on employment requirements and terms and conditions of employment.
  • Candidate Review: Review candidate inventories to ensure the best fit for the company.
  • Interview Coordination: Contact potential applicants to arrange interviews and facilitate the selection process.
  • Graduate Recruitment: Recruit graduates of colleges, universities, and other educational institutions to fill staffing needs.
  • Job Offer Preparation: Notify applicants of the results of the selection process and prepare job offers.
  • HR Policy and Procedure: Advise managers and employees on staffing policies and procedures.
  • Staff Consultation and Grievance: Organize staff consultation and grievance procedures to ensure a positive work environment.
  • Termination and Settlement: Negotiate settlements of appeals and disputes and coordinate the termination of employment process.
  • Staff Training and Development: Determine eligibility to entitlements and arrange staff training to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
  • Personnel Supervision: Supervise personnel clerks performing filing, typing, and record-keeping duties.
Requirements
  • Computer and Technology Skills: Proficient in MS Windows, human resources software, MS Word, and the Internet.
  • Work Term: Permanent position.
  • Work Language: English.
  • Hours: 35 hours per week.
