We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Human Resources Officer to join our team at Tiny Tots Daycare & Preschool Inc.
Job Summary:The Human Resources Officer will be responsible for managing the recruitment and selection process, maintaining employee records, and providing support to managers and employees on staffing policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:- Recruitment and Selection: Identify current and prospective staffing requirements, prepare and post notices and advertisements, collect and screen applicants, and advise job applicants on employment requirements and terms and conditions of employment.
- Employee Records: Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, including personnel files, benefits, and performance evaluations.
- Staffing Support: Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on staffing policies and procedures, including staff consultation and grievance procedures, and determine eligibility to entitlements and arrange staff training.
- Computer and Technology: Utilize database software, project management software, human resources software, MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, and MS Word to perform job duties.
- Education: College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in human resources or a related field.
- Language: Fluency in English.
- Work Setting: Private sector.
- Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and attention to detail.
- Personal Suitability: Accurate, client-focused, efficient interpersonal skills, flexibility, judgement, organized, reliability, team player, adaptability, and ability to multitask.
- Permanent Full-Time Position: 40 hours per week.
