We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Human Resources Officer to join our team at 2051593 ALBERTA LTD. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for managing the full cycle of recruitment and staffing, from identifying staffing requirements to preparing job offers.
Key Responsibilities- Recruitment and Staffing: Identify current and prospective staffing requirements, prepare and post job notices and advertisements, collect and screen applicants, and advise job applicants on employment requirements and terms and conditions of employment.
- Candidate Management: Review candidate inventories, contact potential applicants to arrange interviews, and notify applicants of results of the selection process.
- Employee Relations: Advise managers and employees on staffing policies and procedures, organize staff consultation and grievance procedures, and negotiate settlements of appeals and disputes.
- HR Administration: Supervise personnel clerks performing filing, typing, and record-keeping duties, and determine eligibility to entitlements and arrange staff training.
- Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in human resources, preferably in recruitment and staffing.
- Language: Fluency in English.
- Work Setting: Willing to relocate.
- Computer and Technology Knowledge: Proficiency in MS Windows, human resources software, MS Word, and the Internet.
