About the Role

Mainstreet Equity Corp is seeking a highly skilled Human Resources Officer to join our team. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for identifying current and prospective staffing requirements, collecting and screening applicants, and advising job applicants on employment requirements and terms and conditions of employment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Staffing and Recruitment
    • Identify current and prospective staffing requirements to ensure optimal workforce planning
    • Collect and screen applicants to ensure a high-quality candidate pool
    • Advise job applicants on employment requirements and terms and conditions of employment
  • Selection and Examination Boards
    • Co-ordinate and participate in selection and examination boards to evaluate candidates
    • Advise managers and employees on staffing policies and procedures
  • Work Environment and Safety
    • Evaluate work environments, programs, and procedures to control, eliminate, and prevent disease or injury
  • Computer and Technology Knowledge
    • Utilize human resources software to manage recruitment and staffing processes
    • Proficient in MS Excel, MS Outlook, and MS Word
  • Transportation and Travel
    • Willing to travel as required
    • Public transportation is available
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities
    • Work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail
    • Work under pressure to meet deadlines
