As a Senior Buyer, your responsibilities will include:

  • Overseeing the procurement of inventory for our rotary wing operations, ensuring all aviation parts, materials, and equipment are sourced effectively.
  • Engaging with suppliers to build and maintain strong relationships, focusing on performance and risk management.
  • Coordinating with suppliers regarding repair timelines and parts delivery, while actively monitoring inventory levels.
  • Creating and managing Purchase and Repair Orders using our Maintenance Tracking Software.
  • Collaborating with the Procurement team to generate Purchase Orders in our Industrial and Financial System.
  • Developing strong relationships with Aviation customers and stakeholders to ensure their needs are met.
  • Preparing reports on key performance indicators related to parts and materials.
  • Participating in safety training and reporting any hazards through our Safety Management System.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent; a degree in a related field is an asset.
  • At least 5 years of experience in the Aviation industry, with knowledge of Canadian Aviation Regulations.
  • Experience in Aviation Stores and Purchasing.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Eligibility for a Reliability Clearance.
