Job Title: Inventory Control Supervisor

We are seeking an experienced Inventory Control Supervisor to join our team at Ontario Halal Meat Farms Inc.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the operational logistics of our organization, ensuring the smooth operation of computer equipment and machinery, and coordinating activities with other work units or departments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop specific plans to prioritize tasks and ensure efficient workflow
  • Organize and maintain inventory, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting
  • Oversee operational logistics, including planning and organizing operational activities
  • Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration
  • Prepare and submit reports, providing technical advice and recommendations to improve productivity and product quality
  • Ensure the maintenance and repair of equipment and machinery, resolving work problems and providing technical support as needed
  • Train workers in duties and policies, arranging training for staff and conducting performance reviews
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies, ensuring timely delivery and inventory management
Requirements:
  • 5-10 years of experience in inventory control or a related field
  • Proven track record of success in operational logistics and inventory management
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, and MS Word
Work Environment:

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment, with tight deadlines and a high level of attention to detail. The ability to work under pressure and handle heavy loads is essential.
