JOB SUMMARY

The primary responsibilities of this role include processing daily shipments, accurately receiving and assessing the condition of items, documenting with photographs and weights, handling first-time repair and warranty items, managing factory new stock, fulfilling parts orders, assisting with outgoing shipments, and maintaining comprehensive records of completed purchase orders.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Review each Bid or Purchase Order assigned to your line, paying attention to any additional instructions from Supervisors.
  • Assess the condition and quantity of items, noting any discrepancies and promptly informing your Supervisor of any changes that impact the Purchase Order value.
  • Accurately receive items into inventory at the Receiving Station, documenting serial numbers, firmware, revision levels, and other necessary details.
  • Take clear photographs and weigh items as required.
  • Submit completed paperwork to your Supervisor.
  • Provide completed Purchase Orders to Supervisor for auditing and verification.
  • Maintain an organized filing system for Completed Purchase Orders.
  • Assist your Supervisor in updating any discrepancies in list prices or descriptions through internal and external databases.
  • Retrieve parts from inventory for orders using the designated picking system.
  • Occasionally support the Shipping Processor with daily outbound shipments.
  • Be prepared to work continuously from the time you clock in until you clock out.

This role may be adjusted periodically, and additional tasks may be assigned as necessary.

MEASUREMENTS / METRICS

  • 12 Lots processed per hour
  • Processing errors will be documented in the Management Reporting System
  • Missing items from bins will incur an automatic Commission Penalty

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • Frequent reaching, climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling
  • Regular walking
  • Continuous standing and repetitive hand movements
  • Lifting requirements include frequent lifting of up to 25 pounds, occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds, and continuous lifting of up to 10 pounds

COMPENSATION PLAN

Eligible for the Receiving Monthly Commission Plan.

EMPLOYEE EVALUATION SUMMARY

  • Introductory Review conducted approximately 90 days after employment to assess continuation of employment.
  • Monthly Reviews focusing on quantitative performance and activity measurement.
  • Annual Reviews incorporating monthly evaluations, attendance, job knowledge, overall performance, and reliability.

WORK SCHEDULE

This is a full-time hourly position. Standard working hours are from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with a one-hour unpaid lunch break. Punctuality and adherence to time-off policies are expected.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

The work environment is within a plant and inventory setting. Dress code is casual yet professional. Employees must wear company-branded apparel at all times after receiving the initial supply. Closed-toe shoes are mandatory for safety, and safety shoes are recommended. Employees must display their Radwell ID Badge and Access card at all times and comply with all safety requirements as outlined in the safety manual.
