POSITION OVERVIEW

The primary responsibilities of this role include managing daily shipments, assessing the condition of received items, documenting and weighing products, processing first-time repair and warranty items, and handling new inventory. Additionally, this position involves picking parts for orders, supporting outbound shipments, and maintaining accurate records of purchase orders.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Review and interpret each Bid or Purchase Order assigned, noting any specific instructions from Supervisors.
  • Assess the condition and quantity of items received, reporting any discrepancies to your Supervisor immediately.
  • Accurately log items into inventory at the Receiving Station, recording serial numbers, firmware versions, and other relevant details.
  • Document items through clear photographs and accurate weight measurements.
  • Submit completed paperwork to your Supervisor for review.
  • Ensure Purchase Orders are forwarded to Supervisors for auditing purposes.
  • Maintain an organized filing system for completed Purchase Orders.
  • Assist Supervisors in updating any discrepancies in pricing or descriptions in internal and external databases.
  • Retrieve parts from inventory for order fulfillment using the designated picking system.
  • Occasionally assist with daily outbound shipments as needed.
  • Commit to working diligently from the start to the end of your scheduled shift.

This role may evolve over time, and additional tasks may be assigned as necessary.

PERFORMANCE METRICS

  • Process a minimum of 12 lots per hour.
  • Track processing errors in the Management Reporting System.
  • Missing items from inventory will incur a Commission Penalty.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to reach overhead, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl as required.
  • Frequent walking and continuous standing are necessary.
  • Regular lifting of up to 25 pounds, occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds, and continuous lifting of up to 10 pounds.

COMPENSATION AND EVALUATION

Eligible for the Receiving Monthly Commission Plan.

EMPLOYEE PERFORMANCE REVIEW

  • Introductory Review at approximately 90 days to assess employment continuation.
  • Monthly Reviews focusing on quantitative performance metrics.
  • Annual Reviews incorporating monthly performance, attendance, job knowledge, and overall reliability.

SCHEDULE

This is a full-time hourly position, requiring availability from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, including a one-hour unpaid lunch break. Punctuality and adherence to time-off policies are expected.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

The role is set in a plant and inventory environment. Professional yet casual attire is required, with all employees expected to wear company-branded apparel. Closed-toe shoes are mandatory for safety, and safety shoes are recommended. Employees must display their Radwell ID Badge and Access card at all times and comply with all safety protocols.
