We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team at Next Power Inc. as a Power Systems Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting feasibility studies, designing electrical generation and distribution networks, and supervising a team of technicians and engineers.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct Feasibility Studies: Conduct thorough feasibility studies to identify potential electrical generation and distribution network projects.
- Design Electrical Systems: Design and develop electrical generation and distribution networks, including electrical and electronic components, systems, and equipment.
- Supervise Technical Teams: Supervise and lead a team of technicians, technologists, programmers, analysts, and other engineers to ensure the successful completion of projects.
- Prepare Technical Reports: Prepare detailed technical reports, including material cost and timing estimates, design specifications, and other relevant documentation.
- Commission Systems: Commission electrical and electronic systems and components, ensuring they meet the required standards and specifications.
- Develop Maintenance Standards: Develop and maintain maintenance and operating standards for electrical and electronic systems and equipment.
- Collaborate with Stakeholders: Collaborate with stakeholders, including project managers, clients, and other team members to ensure successful project delivery.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in electrical engineering, preferably in power systems.
- Skills: Excellent technical skills, strong leadership and communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
