About the Role

Spark Power is seeking a highly skilled Electrical Project Manager to join our team in managing projects for our Spark Testing Services Canada division. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the execution of electrical testing, maintenance, and commissioning activities throughout Southern Ontario.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Planning and Coordination: Develop and implement project plans, ensuring timely and within-budget completion.
  • Client Management: Foster strong relationships with clients, internal resources, and third-party vendors to meet project objectives.
  • Resource Allocation: Ensure effective allocation of resources, including personnel and equipment, to meet project demands.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential risks, ensuring project success.
  • Communication and Reporting: Provide regular project updates to stakeholders, including clients and management.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure compliance with company and regulatory safety policies and practices.
Requirements
  • 5+ Years of Project Management Experience: Proven track record in managing high-voltage electrical projects.
  • Electrical Engineering Technology Degree: Post-secondary degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering Technology.
  • Technical Expertise: Knowledge of power distribution troubleshooting and commissioning, as well as testing procedures.
  • Communication and Negotiation Skills: Effective communication and negotiation skills to manage client expectations and vendor relationships.
  • Computer Literacy: Proficiency in computer applications and software relevant to project management.
