Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Operations Manager to join our team at SCOOPS BREAKFAST AND LUNCH RESTAURANT. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring that we provide exceptional customer service and maintain a high level of quality in our food and beverages.

Key Responsibilities
  • Budgeting and Cost Control

Develop and manage budgets to determine the cost of food, ingredients, alcohol, kitchen and cleaning supplies, ensuring that we maintain a competitive edge in the market.

Operational Efficiency

Evaluate and optimize our daily operations to ensure that we are running at maximum efficiency, minimizing waste and maximizing profits.

Staff Management

Monitor and manage the performance of our staff, providing training and development opportunities to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge needed to excel in their roles.

Customer Service

Ensure that our customers receive exceptional service, responding promptly to their needs and concerns.

Inventory Management

Organize and maintain our inventory, ensuring that we have the right products in stock at the right time.

Health and Safety

Ensure that our restaurant meets all health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and safe environment for our customers and staff.

Supplier Negotiations

Negotiate with suppliers to secure the best possible prices for our food and other supplies.

Catering and Events

Negotiate with clients to secure catering and event business, ensuring that we meet their needs and exceed their expectations.

Requirements
  • Education

College or CEGEP diploma in a related field, such as hospitality or business.

Experience

At least 1 year of experience in a restaurant management role, with a proven track record of success.

Supervision

Experience supervising a team of 1-4 people.

Work Conditions

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, under pressure, and for extended periods of time.

Personal Suitability

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong focus on customer service and team management.
