About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Operations Manager to join our team at Magnolia Chinese Cuisine. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our restaurant, ensuring that we maintain the highest standards of quality, service, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Implementation

Develop and implement menus that meet the tastes and preferences of our customers, while ensuring that they are profitable and aligned with our brand values.

Staff Management

Lead and motivate a team of 11-15 staff members, providing guidance, support, and training to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge needed to deliver exceptional customer service.

Inventory Management

Oversee the ordering, storage, and distribution of food and supplies, ensuring that we maintain optimal inventory levels and minimize waste.

Financial Management

Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reports, ensuring that we are operating within our means and achieving our financial goals.

Customer Service

Ensure that our customers receive exceptional service, responding promptly to their needs and concerns, and resolving any issues that may arise.

Requirements
  • Education

A college or CEGEP degree in a relevant field, such as hospitality or business.

Experience

A minimum of 5 years of experience in a restaurant management role, with a proven track record of success in menu planning, staff management, and financial management.

Skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.

Computer Skills

Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Office, and other relevant software applications.
