Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Manager to join our team at Shree Nilkanth Food Services Inc. O/A Dairy Queen. As a Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our business runs smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Cost Control

Develop and implement menu plans that meet the tastes and preferences of our customers, while maintaining profitability and controlling food costs.

Staff Supervision and Training

Supervise and train a team of 5-10 staff members, ensuring that they have the skills and knowledge necessary to provide excellent customer service and maintain high standards of food quality and safety.

Inventory Management

Manage inventory levels, including ordering and receiving supplies, to ensure that we have the necessary stock to meet customer demand.

Customer Service

Ensure that all customers receive exceptional service, responding promptly to their needs and resolving any issues that may arise.

Marketing and Promotion

Participate in marketing and promotional activities to increase customer awareness and drive sales.

Requirements
  • Education

College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.

Experience

1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a restaurant management role.

Skills and Qualifications
  • Computer and Technology

Proficient in MS Excel, MS Office, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, and MS Windows.

Security and Safety

Basic security clearance.

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, under pressure, and with tight deadlines.

Personal Suitability

Accurate, client-focused, dependable, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral and written communication, flexible, organized, reliable, and a team player.

Working Conditions

This is a permanent, full-time position, working 35 hours per week. The work language is English.
