  • Your Role:
  • Deliver engaging lab sessions for CHEM3201 (Spectroscopy 2) and CHEM3202 (Chromatography 2).
  • Cultivate a positive and inclusive classroom experience for students from diverse backgrounds.
  • Utilize adult education principles to facilitate effective learning.
  • Integrate educational technologies to enhance the learning experience.
  • Develop and maintain current, relevant curriculum aligned with industry standards.
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.

About Our Programs:

CHEM3201 (Spectroscopy 2) builds upon foundational knowledge from CHEM3105, focusing on interpreting spectroscopic data through problem-solving and integrating information from various sources. CHEM3202 (Chromatography 2) explores the crucial role of chromatography in diverse industries and regulatory programs, delving into techniques such as High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC), Gas Chromatography (GC), and Ion Chromatography (IC).

Your Qualifications:

  • A degree with industry credentials (Master's preferred).
  • Minimum five years of recent relevant work experience in a laboratory setting.
  • Proven teaching experience at the post-secondary level.
  • Experience in applied research is highly valued.
  • Proficiency in technology for learning support.
  • A commitment to continuous professional development.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills.
  • Understanding of the Ontario college system.
