About the Position

At H&M, as a Retail Customer Consultant, you will be engaging with our clientele and ensuring they stay fashionable. This role, known internally as a Sales Advisor, is crucial for providing an exceptional Customer Experience that enhances the store's sales and profitability. As a Retail Customer Consultant, your primary focus will be on prioritizing customer needs, offering assistance, and sharing your expertise in Products and Fashion. You will foster an inviting shopping atmosphere through effective Store Operations and meticulous Garment Care. By collaborating and sharing your insights with team members, you will play a vital role in building a cohesive team that meets our customers' expectations. This position operates under the guidance of our Department Managers and has a collaborative relationship with the Department Supervisor.

Daily Responsibilities

  • Warmly welcome and interact with customers in service areas and on the sales floor to ensure an outstanding customer experience.
  • Assist in maintaining an organized and presentable sales floor to promote a positive shopping experience, including folding, hanging, displaying, and merchandising products according to H&M standards to optimize sales opportunities.
  • Unload delivery vehicles, receive, open, and unpack merchandise, and label items with security tags within established efficiency timelines.
  • Proactively process, stock, and replenish merchandise on the sales floor and in the stockroom.
  • Operate the cash register, manage all necessary transactions, issue receipts, and properly package merchandise following best practices.
  • Enthusiastically promote our H&M Loyalty program to customers.
  • Share your expertise and assist colleagues, fostering a supportive work environment.
  • Adhere to H&M standards and local regulations regarding health & safety and security protocols to ensure the safety of yourself, your colleagues, and customers at all times.
  • Follow all procedures and protocols related to safety, security, and administrative tasks across all store areas.

  • Willing to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
