Job Summary

H&M Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Department Head to join our team. As a Department Head, you will be responsible for leading a team of sales associates and ensuring that the department runs smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of sales associates to achieve sales goals and provide excellent customer service.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to increase sales and revenue.
  • Monitor and control inventory levels to ensure that the department is fully stocked and that stock levels are optimized.
  • Manage and maintain a high level of visual merchandising and store presentation.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure that the store is running smoothly and that customer needs are met.
  • Recruit, train, and develop sales associates to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in their roles.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records and reports to track sales, inventory, and other key metrics.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of retail management experience, including direct supervisory experience.
  • Proven track record of success in sales and customer service.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and other software applications.
