Part-Time Retail Sales Representative

Are you prepared to excel in a vibrant position as a Part-Time Retail Sales Specialist? In this role, you will focus on enhancing product visibility and driving sales in collaboration with store management. As a Retail Sales Specialist, your primary responsibility will be to engage with customers at leading retail establishments, promoting our client's products in a friendly and approachable manner. This is an excellent opportunity to deliver exceptional customer service, inform customers about top retail brands, and create a significant impact.

Key Considerations:

  • This role involves representing our client, Ferrero Canada.
  • You will be part of a regional team covering various locations; possessing a valid driver's license and reliable transportation is essential.
  • Typical working hours are from 8 AM to 5 PM, three days a week, Monday to Friday.
  • Guaranteed 24 hours per week, with the possibility of up to 32 hours during peak times.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Ensure shelves at major retail locations are well-maintained, adhering to Planogram standards and accurate pricing.
  • Monitor product quality and manage returns of unsaleable items.
  • Drive sales by actively promoting products and setting up displays.
  • Facilitate product launches by ensuring efficient market penetration and distribution.
  • Propose orders and sales initiatives to retailers.
  • Prepare accurate and timely reports, recaps, timesheets, and expense documentation.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED, or equivalent work experience.
  • Physically capable of standing for extended periods and lifting items over 50 pounds.
  • Preferably a Bachelor's Degree or two years of relevant experience in retail, client services, or food brokerage.
  • Proven ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and function with minimal supervision.
  • Basic proficiency in Word, Excel, and Internet applications.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
