Job Summary:
We are seeking a Retail Sales Associate to join our team at our London and Monroe store in Winnipeg. As a Retail Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, processing transactions, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service at the checkout counters
- Accurately process customer transactions using electronic cash registers and self-checkouts
- Replenish merchandise around the checkout area
- Ensure health and safety policies and guidelines are followed
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment
- Follow loss prevention best practices
- Ensure compliance with all policies when selling tobacco and lottery products
Requirements:
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Physical Demands:
The physical demands of this role include standing and/or walking, bending, twisting, and squatting. You will also be required to lift and/or move up to 18 kg (40 lbs) and perform tasks involving firm grasping and repetitive hand motions.
Working Conditions:
This is a part-time position with a typical schedule of 30-35 hours per week. You will be required to work a mix of day shifts, evenings, and weekends.
