We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Restaurant Supervisor to join our team at Quality Inn & Suites High Level.
Job Summary:The Restaurant Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring that all food and service meet quality control standards. This includes supervising and coordinating the activities of staff, training staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, and maintaining records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
Key Responsibilities:- Establish methods to meet work schedules and requisition food and kitchen supplies.
- Supervise and coordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food, including training staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.
- Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation and prepare food order summaries for the chef.
- Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards and address customers' complaints or concerns.
- Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage and prepare budget and cost estimates.
- Supervise and check assembly of trays and delivery of food trolleys.
- Establish work schedules and supervise a team of 5-10 people.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Knowledge of the establishment's culinary genres.
