About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Business Development Manager to join our team at BMO. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in driving business growth and development across our strategic branches.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement innovative business development strategies to drive growth and expansion.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create and execute marketing and sales plans.
  • Conduct market analysis and identify opportunities for value creation.
  • Develop and maintain business plans to achieve client retention objectives.
  • Provide subject matter expertise and guidance to internal stakeholders.
  • Identify and mitigate risks to ensure successful project execution.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and partners.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
Requirements
  • 5-7 years of relevant experience in business development or a related field.
  • Post-secondary degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong knowledge of Lean process improvement methodology and established process analysis and improvement tools.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and handle non-routine situations.
