Recruitment Coordinator Job Description

At CB Canada, we're seeking a highly skilled Recruitment Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our recruitment team, you'll play a critical role in supporting the day-to-day functions of retail recruitment for our assigned client groups.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand role requirements and manage requisitions to fulfill recruitment needs
  • Approve requisitions for assigned regions and post job ads on career sites and job boards
  • Utilize applicant tracking systems to screen resumes and identify candidates that meet banner-specific profiles
  • Conduct interviews to determine candidate fit and forward recommendations to hiring managers
  • Develop creative sourcing campaigns and strategies to support remote and priority recruitment
  • Provide ATS training to new hiring managers and ongoing support for closing requisitions and managing the candidate lifecycle
  • Work with the Recruitment Team Lead on various projects related to recruitment and talent strategy
  • Serve as an ambassador for our retail brands and manage recruitment inbox by responding to inquiries and escalating issues
  • Collaborate on the planning and execution of Hiring Fairs and attend local events
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of recruitment experience with a search firm or in-house recruiting, or a combination of education and experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business Management, or Marketing preferred
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • 1-2 years of experience working in a retail sales environment is an asset
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office platforms
