Talent Acquisition Coordinator

As a pivotal member of our Human Resources team, the Talent Acquisition Coordinator (TAC) plays a crucial role in sourcing, selecting, and onboarding new talent. This position requires a proactive and detail-oriented individual who thrives in a dynamic environment. The TAC will be instrumental in organizing training sessions and ensuring a smooth onboarding process for new hires.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate incoming applications to identify candidates who meet essential qualifications for further consideration
  • Conduct preliminary phone interviews with qualified candidates and coordinate in-person interviews for those who advance
  • Facilitate both virtual and face-to-face interviews with selected candidates
  • Utilize sound judgement to assess candidates' fit for employment with Paladin Security
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure proper site placements for new hires
  • Maintain accurate records in our applicant tracking system
  • Represent the company at job fairs, providing comprehensive information to potential candidates
  • Assist in organizing recruitment events, liaising with employment agencies, educational institutions, and law enforcement agencies
  • Support online recruitment efforts by posting job openings on various platforms and ensuring listings are current and appealing
  • Help manage Paladin Talent's social media presence
  • Engage in community involvement initiatives and support employee relations and communication efforts
  • Regularly report on recruitment metrics, including application volumes and interview schedules
Qualifications
  • At least one (1) year of experience in full-cycle recruitment
  • Experience within the security sector is a significant advantage
  • Post-secondary education in human resources, business administration, or a related field
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities
  • Proactive mindset with a capacity for innovative thinking
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting
  • High level of discretion and commitment to confidentiality
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software
Compensation: $50,000 - $55,000

This role is office-based.
