Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Recruitment Coordinator to support the day-to-day functions of retail recruitment for our assigned client groups. As a key member of our recruitment team, you will work closely with hiring managers to understand the requirements of the role, manage requisitions, and fulfill recruitment needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Approve requisitions for assigned regions and post job ads on career sites and national job boards
  • Use the applicant tracking system (ATS) to manage high-volume screening of resumes and identify candidates that meet banner-specific profiles
  • Interview shortlisted candidates to determine fit and forward recommendations to hiring managers for in-person interviews
  • Identify ways to support remote and priority recruitment through creative sourcing campaigns, strategies, and referral generation
  • Headhunt to engage passive candidates using Boolean search techniques
  • Provide ATS training to new hiring managers and ongoing support for closing requisitions and managing the candidate lifecycle
  • Work with the Recruitment Team Lead on various projects related to recruitment and talent strategy
  • Serve as an ambassador for our award-winning team and leading retailer
  • Manage recruitment inbox by responding to inquiries and escalating issues in a timely manner
  • Collaborate on the planning and execution of Hiring Fairs and attend local events
  • Support the Human Resources team with ad hoc duties as assigned

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of recruitment experience with a search firm or in-house recruiting, or a combination of education and experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business Management, and/or Marketing preferred
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • 1-2 years of experience working in a retail sales environment is an asset
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office platforms
