As a Recruitment Coordinator at CB Canada, you will play a critical role in supporting the day-to-day functions of retail recruitment for assigned client groups. This position requires a strong understanding of recruitment principles and practices, as well as excellent communication and organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with hiring managers to understand role requirements and manage requisitions to fulfill recruitment needs
  • Approve requisitions for assigned regions and post job ads on career sites and job boards
  • Use applicant tracking systems to manage high-volume screening of resumes and identify candidates that meet specific profiles
  • Interview shortlisted candidates to determine fit and forward recommendations to hiring managers for in-person interviews
  • Identify ways to support remote and priority recruitment through creative sourcing campaigns and strategies
  • Headhunt to engage passive candidates using Boolean search techniques and alternative search methods
  • Provide ATS training to new hiring managers and ongoing support for closing requisitions and managing the candidate lifecycle
  • Collaborate with the Recruitment Team Lead on various projects related to recruitment and talent strategy
  • Represent CB Canada's retail brands and manage recruitment inbox by responding to inquiries and escalating issues in a timely manner
  • Support the Human Resources team with ad hoc duties as assigned
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of recruitment experience with a search firm or in-house recruiting, or a combination of education and experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business Management, or Marketing preferred
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • 1-2 years of experience working in a retail sales environment is an asset
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office platforms
