Company Overview: Behaviour Interactive, with a workforce exceeding 1,300 globally, operates studios in various locations including Toronto, Seattle, Rotterdam, and the UK. This position is integral to our division dedicated to the development of original gaming titles. Our teams are committed to the creation, enhancement, and support of Behaviour-owned intellectual properties, including popular titles and other projects currently in development.

Role Summary: As the Head of Community Engagement and Public Relations, you will establish the strategic vision for the Influencer and PR teams, aimed at amplifying awareness, broadening our audience, and ensuring an exceptional experience for both the media and our gaming communities. You will lead and nurture a diverse team of Influencer and PR Managers, guiding them across various projects. Your role will involve acting as the primary advocate for our influencer and PR initiatives within the organization, fostering collaboration with Marketing, Product, and Production teams, and reporting directly to the Head of Marketing Communications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Define the overarching strategy for Influencer management and Public Relations for our existing and forthcoming gaming titles;
  • Empower your team to design and implement impactful influencer campaigns while ensuring the effective operation of our content creator program;
  • Build partnerships and maintain relationships with agencies and media outlets globally to enhance our PR initiatives;
  • Champion Influencer and PR projects, set performance indicators, and communicate their significance to partner teams and leadership;
  • Provide insights on player experiences and manage any negative feedback or media inquiries, including crisis management;
  • Oversee and validate the Influencer and PR budgets for all gaming projects;
  • Mentor and develop a team of influencer and PR managers, promoting their professional growth and the use of data-driven strategies to meet marketing and business objectives.
Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in the gaming or entertainment sector, with a proven track record in launching successful games and executing GaaS campaigns;
  • Established connections within the gaming community, including influencers and journalists, are highly advantageous;
  • A comprehensive understanding of Influencer and PR performance metrics, with a history of achieving positive ROI and staying abreast of current trends in gaming and entertainment;
  • Experience in managing influencer and PR teams, with a strong commitment to team development and mentorship, self-driven, and capable of initiating new projects;
  • A demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with partner teams to ensure the success of Influencer and PR strategies;
  • Fluency in English is required; proficiency in French is a significant asset.
