Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Community Developer to join our team at Ubisoft. As a key member of our global community team, you will be responsible for establishing and growing our communities around our games, with a focus on Rainbow Six Siege.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Execute Community Strategies: Create and implement community strategic plans through various content tactics, supporting production objectives and augmenting our overall marketing strategy.
  • Coordinate Communication and Activities: Collaborate with multiple global departments to ensure consistent and cohesive messaging, leveraging community managers, transversal teams, and partner resources to create engaging content for our players.
  • Represent the Brand: Act as a spokesperson for our assigned brand(s), coordinating community-centric events, such as studio visits, developer dialogues, and tournaments.
  • Measure Success: Collaborate with our Social Media Manager to define and report on content KPIs, demonstrating the success and ROI of our community programs and content.
  • Support Internal and External Milestones: Ensure KPIs are met and advocate for the player experience during betas and launches.
  • Represent Player Needs: Act as a primary representative for players' needs within our production and publishing teams, influencing development and communications positioning.
  • Shape Player Feedback Cycles: Provide insights to our production and publishing teams to influence game experiences, stimulate player retention, and assist in positioning messaging and marketing beats.
  • Collaborate with Live Teams: Coordinate with our live teams for post-launch communication, setting expectations on patch content, status, and delivery.
  • Manage Community Feedback: Produce internal reports on community feedback, activity, and expectations.
Requirements
  • Intermediate Experience: Manage online communities and develop strategic plans or programs with demonstrable success in a professional setting.
  • Gaming Industry Expertise: Extensive experience in the gaming industry, with multiple gaming platforms.
  • Social Media Knowledge: Extensive knowledge of social media platforms (Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, TikTok, Discord, etc.).
  • Production Environment Experience: Experience working in a demanding production environment, with multiple deadlines, metrics for success, and stakeholders.
  • Community Growth Expertise: Strong understanding of building and maintaining the growth of video game communities and developing strategic player engagement plans.
  • Player Feedback Experience: Proven track record of working with various stakeholders to filter and implement player feedback.
