Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Resident Service Attendant to join our team. As a key member of our care team, you will play a vital role in supporting the physical, emotional, and social needs of our residents.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide personalized care and support to residents, including assistance with activities of daily living, medication management, and mobility.
  • Collaborate with the care team to develop and implement individualized care plans that promote resident independence and well-being.
  • Assist with housekeeping and laundry duties, maintaining a clean and safe living environment for residents.
  • Participate in shift reports and communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Health and Wellness Manager or delegate.

Requirements

  • Minimum of grade 12 education required.
  • PSW Certificate, Active CPR, is required.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbally, in the English language.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and to evaluate and meet resident care needs.
  • Dependable, responsible, and an ability to work well with others in a team environment and independently.
