Position:
We are seeking a motivated and client-focused individual to become a part of our team as a Sales Consultant.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify potential clients and exceed growth targets
  • Engage with both new and existing clients to arrange meetings concerning their insurance and financial needs
  • Maximize all sales opportunities and available product offerings
  • Work closely with the agent to set and meet marketing goals
  • Provide a tailored review process to inform clients about their insurance choices
Required Qualifications:
  • Possess a Property and Casualty OTL license (must be able to obtain)
  • Eligibility for Life and Health license (must be able to obtain)
  • Skilled in utilizing social media and technology
  • Previous sales experience and product knowledge
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience in the industry
  • Background in insurance roles such as underwriting, claims, sales, or service is beneficial
Compensation Package:
  • Full-time, Permanent position
  • Competitive Base Salary ranging from $42,000 to $55,000 annually
  • Commissions on P & C and Financial Services production
  • Opportunities for Performance and Annual Travel bonuses
  • Benefits include paid time off, dental and vision coverage

Note: This role is associated with an independent contractor agent within the Desjardins exclusive agent network, and not with Desjardins Group or its subsidiaries. Employees operate directly under the agent's supervision and guidance.
