We are seeking an enthusiastic and client-focused individual to join our team as an Insurance Sales Consultant.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify and cultivate new business opportunities to exceed growth targets
  • Engage with both prospective and existing clients to arrange consultations regarding their insurance and financial needs
  • Leverage all available sales avenues and product offerings
  • Work collaboratively with the agency to set and meet marketing objectives
  • Provide a tailored review process to inform clients about various insurance options
Required Qualifications:
  • Possess a Property and Casualty OTL license (must be able to obtain)
  • Eligibility for Life and Health license (must be able to obtain)
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and technology
  • Previous sales experience and product knowledge
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience in the insurance sector
  • Background in underwriting, claims, sales, or service is a plus
Compensation and Benefits:
  • Full-time, Permanent position
  • Competitive Base Salary ranging from $42,000 to $55,000 annually
  • Commissions based on P & C and Financial Services production
  • Opportunities for Performance and Annual Travel bonuses
  • Comprehensive benefits package including paid time off, dental, and vision insurance

This role is associated with an independent contractor agent within the Desjardins exclusive agent network, and not with Desjardins Group or its subsidiaries. Employees will work directly under the agent's supervision and guidance.
