About the Role

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a strong understanding of compensation and benefits strategies. As an HR Business Partner - Compensation and Benefits Expert, you will play a key role in shaping the company's compensation and benefits programs to ensure they are competitive and aligned with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Compensation Strategy: Develop and implement compensation strategies that attract and retain top talent, while ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Benefits Administration: Oversee the administration of benefits programs, including global benefits programs, to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Salary Review Process: Lead the group's annual salary review process, including data collection, forecasting, and budgeting.
  • Compensation and Benefits Benchmarking: Conduct regular benchmarking studies to ensure that salaries and benefits remain competitive in local markets.
  • HRIS System Management: Serve as the super-user of the HRIS system to ensure accurate and timely entry of compensation and benefits information.
  • Benefits Communications: Develop and review benefits communications strategies, including new employee orientation materials, ongoing employee communications, and annual membership communications.
Requirements
  • Experience: Proven experience in compensation and benefits, with a strong understanding of global benefits programs and compensation strategies.
  • Knowledge: Knowledge of Canadian labour law and payroll software, such as Immedis.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to effectively review and interpret data.
  • Language: Bi-lingual French and English is a must.
