About the Role

We are seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to join our team at Scott Bader. As an HR Business Partner, you will play a key role in supporting the implementation of our human resources strategy and providing expert advice and guidance to management colleagues and staff on complex human resources matters.

Key Responsibilities
  • Compensation and Benefits Management
    • Review and maintain global benefits programs to ensure alignment with market changes and local principles.
    • Recommend changes to benefits programs based on market analysis and work with country HR representatives to implement changes.
  • Salary Review and Benchmarking
    • Lead the group's annual salary review process, including data collection, forecasting, and budgeting.
    • Prepare and communicate salary review processes to HR representatives in countries and issue spreadsheets for proposed increases.
    • Consolidate proposals and ensure approval.
  • Compensation and Benefits Policies and Procedures
    • Develop and maintain compensation and benefits policies and procedures.
    • Lead the salary and benefits benchmarking process to ensure competitiveness in local markets.
  • HRIS System Management
    • Act as the super-user of the HRIS system to ensure accurate and timely entry of compensation and benefits information.
  • Benefits Communications
    • Develop and review benefits communications strategy, including new employee orientation materials, ongoing employee communications, and annual membership communications.
Requirements
  • Experience
    • Experience with payroll software such as Immedis.
    • Knowledge and previous experience in managing complex emergency cases.
  • Skills
    • Data-driven individual with ability to effectively review and interpret data, producing meaningful results.
    • Solid understanding of Canadian labour law.
  • Language
    • Bilingual French and English is a must.
