Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Hotel Front Desk Associate at Border Inn & Suites. As a key member of our front office team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service, managing room reservations, and ensuring a seamless check-in and check-out experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Guest Registration and Room Assignments: Register arriving guests, assign rooms, and ensure accurate and efficient room assignments.
  • Reservation Management: Take, cancel, and change room reservations in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Cash Handling and Reporting: Balance cash, complete balance sheets, cash reports, and related forms with high accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Clerical and Administrative Duties: Perform various clerical tasks, including faxing, filing, and photocopying, to support the smooth operation of the front office.
  • Communication and Customer Service: Answer telephone calls, relay messages, and provide exceptional customer service to our guests, responding to their inquiries and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Housekeeping and Cleaning: Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties to maintain the cleanliness and organization of the front office and surrounding areas.

Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Experience is an asset, but not required.
  • Language: English is the primary language of communication.
  • Work Term: Permanent position.
  • Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
