About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to provide administrative support to our team at Excel Personnel. As an Administrative Assistant - Accounting Support, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth daily operations of our office.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to ensure seamless daily operations
  • Manage correspondence, including emails and phone calls
  • Maintain accurate records, including filing, data entry, and document organization
  • Deliver exceptional customer support to internal and external clients
  • Collaborate with other departments to streamline information flow
  • Handle accounts payable, accounts receivable, month ends, year ends, bank reconciliations, bank deposits, invoicing, and processing credit card transactions
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years of accounting/bookkeeping experience
  • Proficient in QuickBooks and Excel
  • Skilled in all Microsoft Office products (Word, Outlook) and basic office equipment
  • Exceptional organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently
  • Flexible and comfortable with non-routine assignments and tasks
  • Enjoys working in a team environment
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Teachable and willing to learn all required systems and programs

  • Competitive wage of $26 per hour
  • Flexible work schedule: Monday to Friday 9am – 3pm OR Monday to Thursday 9am – 4pm
  • Potential to grow from part-time to full-time
  • 50/50 benefits plan and one 8-hour flex day per year
