The SASE segment represents a vital revenue stream and growth opportunity at Palo Alto Networks. As a SASE Sales Expert, you will spearhead the promotion of the Palo Alto Networks SASE suite in the Western Region of the US, encompassing Prisma Access, Prisma SD-WAN, and Next Gen CASB across a diverse range of Enterprise clients. You will collaborate with various teams to implement the comprehensive SASE Go-to-Market strategy, offering thought leadership and enabling scalability. Your drive is fueled by the ambition to address critical security challenges faced by our clients.

Your responsibilities include surpassing your sales targets, maintaining expertise in your field, crafting and updating detailed strategic plans, and delivering presentations to a variety of audiences, both large and small, in-person and virtually.

Your Impact
  • Collaborate effectively with your regional leadership to engage customers, partners, and colleagues with the SASE portfolio.
  • Conduct high-level sales planning to ensure accurate business forecasting.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of security threats, solutions, security tools, and network technologies.
  • Leverage all available cross-functional resources to meet your sales targets.
  • Stay informed on industry developments and trends, and their implications for Palo Alto Networks products and services.
  • Facilitate in-person sessions, webinars, and educational materials tailored for the relevant audience.
  • Identify opportunities for cross-selling and up-selling within existing accounts.
  • Educate clients and partners about the contemporary network security landscape.
  • Build relationships and sell through channel partners.
  • Be prepared to travel over 50% of the time throughout the Western US and attend company-wide meetings.
Your Experience
  • Possess sufficient technical knowledge to manage certain accounts while your Sales Engineer assists others.
  • Demonstrated success in exceeding sales quotas in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in selling network infrastructure security appliances, including but not limited to Firewalls, SSL/IPSec VPNs, Security Proxies, and SD-WAN solutions.
  • Practical experience with routing and switching products that integrate with our appliances.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
  • Experience collaborating with channel partners and a solid understanding of a channel-centric go-to-market strategy.
  • Strong time management skills, with the ability to work autonomously and self-direct.

Compensation Disclosure

The compensation for this position will be determined based on qualifications, experience, and work location. For candidates receiving an offer at the posted level, the expected starting base salary (for non-sales roles) or base salary plus commission target (for sales/commissioned roles) ranges from $251,900 to $346,400 annually. The offered compensation may also include restricted stock units and a bonus. A description of our employee benefits is available.
