Job Description

Job Title: Senior Network Architect

Job Summary:

Capleo Global LLC is seeking a highly skilled Senior Network Architect to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing modern network infrastructure solutions that meet the needs of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Network Design and Implementation: Design and implement network infrastructure solutions that meet the needs of our organization, including LAN/WAN, VPN, VLAN, wLAN, and hardware (servers, switches, routers, firewalls).
  • Software-Defined Networking (SDN): Develop and implement SDN solutions, including Fortinet, Meraki, and Palo Alto.
  • Network Security: Design and implement advanced SD network security solutions, including next-generation firewalls (Fortinet, Meraki, Palo Alto), endpoint protection, and cloud-based security solutions.
  • Coordination and Communication: Provide subject matter expertise, advice, and consultancy on collecting and analyzing network-related data. Effectively present to management teams and external stakeholders.
  • Industry Certifications/Relevant Degrees: Preferred postgraduate degree (e.g., M.Sc. and/or Ph.D.) in computer science or engineering. Relevant vendor certifications such as AWS or other certifications such as Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), advance network, CompTIA or courses in SASE.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years' hands-on experience with software-defined networking (SDN, SD-WAN).
  • 5+ years' hands-on experience in data and performance monitoring, and management systems.
  • 5+ years' hands-on experience with network data traffic awareness, monitoring and analysis tools and technologies.
  • 5+ years' experience in advanced SD network security.
  • Demonstrated hands-on experience with SASE platforms and solutions.
  • 5+ years' experience in preparing written materials (e.g., status reports, recommendations, briefing notes).
  • Demonstrated experience providing design, development and delivery of technical solution and technical training courses to the Public Service or Broader Public Service or school boards preferred
