Organizational Change Management (OCM) Consultant

We are looking for a mid-level Change Management professional to become a part of our project team and assist in the creation and implementation of various change management deliverables that support our Energy Trading and Risk Management-Refined Products (ETRM RP) initiative.

The ETRM RP project is a collaborative, business-driven effort aimed at optimizing personnel, processes, data, and technology across our Front, Middle, and Back Office divisions.

This role involves collaboration with the Corporate Program Management Office (CPMO) Senior Manager, OCM, and requires partnership with the ETRM project OCM Lead, project leadership, and relevant stakeholders to foster the acceptance of changes, tools, practices, and processes that enhance overall business performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and update the project SharePoint site, ensuring it includes pertinent real-world examples of change impacts and frequently asked questions.
  • Create content for bi-weekly email communications.
  • Develop materials for project presentations, including overviews of changes by function and role-specific scenarios.
  • Assist in documenting change impacts and support implementation efforts.
  • Collaborate with the OCM Business Readiness lead to formulate communication, business readiness, and implementation strategies, and aid in executing these plans.
  • Support the development of people readiness network initiatives and activities.
  • Facilitate engagement, learning, and support activities for the network to equip them with the necessary skills to train and assist their colleagues during the transition.
  • Contribute to training development efforts and deliverables.
  • Prepare communications to promote training sessions; collaborate on scripts for instructional videos; participate in quality assurance reviews of user documentation; and coordinate with the learning team to align end-user readiness with training assessments.
  • Contribute to OCM and Learning project plans, deliverables, risk logs, and status updates.
  • Engage with the project team, CPMO, and other enabling partners, including Corporate Communications and Learning.

Qualifications:

  • 5-8 years of experience in change management within a large corporate setting, particularly in support of complex initiatives or technology transformations.
  • Accreditation or certification in a recognized change methodology or equivalent training and experience.
  • Proficient computer skills with above-average knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and other Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience in a project environment and familiarity with project management methodologies, tools, and lifecycles.
  • Ability to adapt and thrive in ambiguous and evolving situations.
  • Experience with ETRM projects is considered a significant advantage.
