About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Transformation Consultant to join our team at Fraser Health. As a key member of our Strategic Transformation and Implementation Team, you will play a critical role in delivering high-priority, cross-organizational change initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Project Management: Develop and implement assigned transformation initiatives for specific programs and/or disciplines, utilizing project and/or change management principles during the idea generation, planning, implementation, evaluation, and monitoring phases.
  2. Change Management: Provide coordination throughout all phases of the change initiative, ensuring that an optimal plan/structure is in place to achieve the desired outcomes and benefits.
  3. Stakeholder Engagement: Negotiate and facilitate resolution to impediments to progress and success on behalf of the client arising from project/change management initiatives.
  4. Communication: Identify and manage key client strategies and work closely with Communications to develop communication strategies.
  5. Progress Monitoring: Provide progress monitoring and reporting to clients and stakeholders, developing and managing project tracking material and online resources for the initiative.
  6. Risk Management: Identify, manage, mitigate risks, and facilitate issues resolution.
  7. Systems Impact: Assess the impact of the transformation (change) initiative from a systems perspective and manage the impacts and interdependencies with other initiatives happening in Fraser Health.
  8. Documentation: Develop appropriate documentation (e.g., statements of work, proposals, charters, work plans, risk management plans, change management plans, etc.).
  9. Process Improvement: Partner with other departments in the development, maintenance, and promotion of the organization's repeatable and sustainable initiative/project/change management process.
  10. Methodology Evaluation: Participate in evaluation and refinement of tools and methods utilized by the Strategic Transformation Team, championing the various STT methodologies, and assisting in the development and presentation of initiative, project, and change management coaching, mentoring, and instruction strategies and materials.
Qualifications

We are looking for a candidate with a Master's degree in health administration or a related discipline supplemented with project and change management courses. Five (5) years' recent, related experience in an environment focused on delivering change/transformation initiatives using project and change management methods in a large, complex, multi-stakeholder environment or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.

A valid BC Driver's Licence and access to a personal vehicle for business-related purposes are also necessary.About Fraser Health
