About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Change Management Consultant to join our team at Mariner Innovations Inc. As a key member of our Change Management Practice, you will work closely with our clients to drive successful business outcomes through strategic change initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead change programs and projects, building capabilities with leaders and teams of our clients
  • Work with organizations to develop knowledge, capability, and expertise in change management principles, methodologies, and tools
  • Enable leaders and teams to understand how change impacts people, barriers to effective change, and how to support people as they transition through change
  • Perform change-related assessments, using outcomes to influence the organization and project in designing tailored change programs
  • Develop and implement Change Management Strategies and Plans, and create/execute quality Communication Plans and deliverables in support of key operational or project initiatives
  • Ensure the alignment of change management activities within project plans to smooth the adoption process, resulting in successful implementation
  • Ensure that clients' leaders and teams are actively engaged in the change, consulted, and communicated with
  • Be an active and visible coach to project team members and client leaders/team members
  • Report to leadership the status of change progress and plans, effectively escalating risks and action plans
Requirements
  • 8+ years' experience in a Change Lead, Change Manager, and/or Management Consultant role, on medium to large transformational projects
  • 8+ years' demonstrated experience in development of training, communication, and change management programs and plans
  • 8+ years' experience identifying and assessing change impacts to the organization's business processes, people, and technology solutions
  • Strong understanding of change management industry standards, best practices, and methodologies, with a certification in industry-standard change management methodology (CCMP, PROSCI, etc.) considered an asset
  • Experience in a consulting environment is considered an asset
  • Experience working directly with senior management and leaders of organizations
  • Strong conflict management, interpersonal, and communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Curious and creative; a good communicator: able to explain your ideas and recommendations to senior leaders
  • Well-organized and dependable under pressure: you manage your time effectively
