Position Overview

As a Senior Business Development Manager at Accor Hotels, you will report directly to the Director of Sales. Your role will be pivotal in driving growth and innovation within the organization. You will leverage your expertise to uncover new business avenues, establish robust relationships with potential clients, and enhance revenue through strategic collaborations and sales initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Identify and cultivate key accounts across various market segments, including MICE, Corporate, and Sporting.
  2. Explore and secure new business opportunities, focusing on corporate accounts, group bookings, and event collaborations.
  3. Develop and execute a comprehensive business development plan aimed at achieving sales objectives and increasing market share.
  4. Foster and maintain strong relationships with essential stakeholders, including corporate clients, event organizers, travel agents, and industry leaders.
  5. Negotiate contracts and agreements that align with the organization's business goals and revenue targets.
  6. Conduct property tours for prospective clients to showcase our offerings.
  7. Work closely with marketing and operations teams to create engaging sales presentations, promotional content, and marketing campaigns.
  8. Stay informed on industry trends, competitive dynamics, and market developments to identify growth opportunities.
  9. Represent Accor Hotels at industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to boost brand awareness and generate leads.
  10. Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for senior management, highlighting successes, challenges, and opportunities.
Qualifications
  1. Demonstrated experience in business development, sales, or account management within the luxury hospitality sector or a related field.
  2. Strong grasp of sales strategies and techniques, with a proven track record of meeting revenue goals.
  3. Exceptional negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  4. Able to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  5. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  6. Experience with Opera PMS and sales systems such as ANAIS, Cvent, and Delphi is highly advantageous.
  7. Must possess valid working rights.
