Position Overview

As a Senior Business Development Manager at Accor Hotels, you will play a pivotal role in driving growth and enhancing our market presence. Reporting directly to the Director of Sales, your innovative mindset and strategic vision will be crucial in identifying and capitalizing on new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Identify and cultivate key accounts across various sectors, including MICE, corporate, and niche markets.
  2. Explore and pursue new business avenues, focusing on corporate partnerships, group reservations, and event collaborations.
  3. Develop and execute a comprehensive business development plan aimed at achieving sales objectives and expanding our footprint.
  4. Establish and nurture relationships with essential stakeholders, including corporate clients, event coordinators, travel professionals, and industry leaders.
  5. Negotiate contracts and agreements that align with our strategic goals and revenue aspirations.
  6. Conduct property tours for prospective clients to showcase our offerings.
  7. Collaborate with marketing and operations teams to create engaging sales presentations and promotional initiatives.
  8. Stay informed on industry trends and competitive dynamics to identify growth opportunities.
  9. Represent Accor Hotels at industry conferences, trade exhibitions, and networking events to boost brand awareness and generate leads.
  10. Prepare detailed sales reports and forecasts for senior management, outlining successes, challenges, and growth opportunities.
Qualifications
  1. Demonstrated experience in business development, sales, or account management within the luxury hospitality sector or a related field.
  2. Strong grasp of sales methodologies and a proven track record of meeting revenue targets.
  3. Exceptional negotiation, communication, and interpersonal abilities.
  4. Capacity to work autonomously and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
  5. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  6. Familiarity with Opera PMS and sales systems such as ANAIS, Cvent, and Delphi is highly advantageous.
  7. Must possess valid working rights.
