About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Roofing Assistant to join our team at 2580737 Ontario Inc. as a Construction Support Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting our experienced team members with various tasks related to roofing and construction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load, Unload, and Transport Construction Materials
  • Operate Mobile and Tower Cranes to Lift, Move, Position, or Place Equipment and Materials
  • Clean and Lubricate Cranes
  • Erect and Dismantle Concrete Forms, Scaffolding, Ramps, Catwalks, Shoring, and Barricades
  • Operate Pile Driving Cranes to Drive Pilings into Earth to Provide Support for Buildings and Other Structures
  • Instruct Apprentices
  • Assist in Drilling and Blasting Rock on Construction Sites
  • Operate Offshore Oil Rig Cranes to Unload and Reload Supply Vessels
  • Assist in Demolishing Buildings
  • Clean and Pile Salvaged Materials
  • Operate Dragline Cranes to Expose Coal Seams and Ore Deposits at Open Pit Mines
  • Remove Rubble and Other Debris at Construction Sites
  • Tend or Feed Machines or Equipment Used in Construction
