About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Roofing Assistant to join our team at 2580737 Ontario Inc. as a key member of our construction crew.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and Maintain Heavy Equipment: Load, unload, and transport construction materials, operate mobile and tower cranes to lift, move, position, or place equipment and materials, and clean and lubricate cranes.
  • Construction Site Operations: Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades, operate pile driving cranes to drive pilings into earth to provide support for buildings and other structures, and assist in drilling and blasting rock on construction sites.
  • Support and Training: Instruct apprentices, assist medical examiners, and operate locomotive cranes to move objects and materials at railway yards.
  • Site Safety and Maintenance: Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites, tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction, and clean and pile salvaged materials.
Work Environment and Conditions

This is a physically demanding role that requires working under pressure, with hand-eye coordination, and in a fast-paced outdoor environment.
