Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver outstanding customer support. Analyze policy documents, determine applicable coverage, and ensure proper allocation of reserves.
  • Assess claims to establish liability.
  • Review pertinent information from sources such as expert evaluators, independent claims professionals, contractors, and repair shops to assess damages.
  • Facilitate services with vendors and service providers.
  • Manage claims from initiation to resolution in a proactive manner.
  • Ensure the accuracy of records in the claims management system in accordance with company standards and policies.
  • Keep informed about the latest legislative updates and industry developments in the insurance sector.
  • Undertake additional tasks as requested.

Required Qualifications

  • Fluent in both French and English.
  • Acquire the Claims Adjuster License from the Financial Markets Authority (AMF) within six months of employment.
  • Excellent customer service abilities, including the capacity to show empathy and concern for client satisfaction.
  • Strong analytical and investigative skills.
  • Effective time management and organizational capabilities, along with the ability to prioritize tasks in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • High attention to detail and precision in data entry.
  • Proficient negotiation skills.
